Join Us for a Beer Chocolate Virtual Tasting!

Join David Nilsen, beer writer and creator and host of Bean to Barstool, for a guided tasting of beer-infused craft chocolate on Saturday, March 25, at 2 pm eastern time! During this 1 hour event, David will walk attendees through a tasting of five craft chocolate bars that were made with beer or beer ingredients like malt and hops. Along the way, David will discuss the specific beers and ingredients used, how they were utilized to create each bar's unique flavors, and profile the chocolate makers and the craft breweries, malt houses, and hop farms they worked with.

This afternoon tasting is the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon, or you can simply watch the recorded version at your leisure for up to one month after the event if you're unable to attend live. This event makes a great Valentine's Day gift!

The tasting will include Nostalgia Chocolate’s Hop Aged bar made with Chinook hops, Somerville Chocolate’s Hops Dark Milk and Beer Dark Chocolate bars made in collaboration with Aeronaut Brewing, French Broad’s Malted Milk bar made with Riverbend Malt, and a beer-infused bar from The Chocolate Conspiracy.

Attendees to this event will learn the basics of craft chocolate (how it's made, where its ingredients come from, etc), how to taste chocolate, and the basics of beer ingredients. This 60-75 minute event will be both fun and educational, helping attendees learn about their favorite treats in a non-intimidating format.

Attendees will be shipped the five bars for the tasting (tasting kits will begin to ship around the end of February), as well as a tasting sheet and a Bean to Barstool sticker. David will send an informational email that includes the Zoom invite for the event as well as basic instructions for the event.

Tickets are $50, and one ticket is good for as many adults as wish to join using one screen. Each package will include enough chocolate to comfortably supply 4 participants (or you can just keep the extra and nibble in the following days!) Shipping is included in the cost of the ticket. This event is for U.S. residents only.

The deadline for purchasing tickets to this event is Wednesday, March 15th. We can’t wait to taste chocolate with you!
